Super Moon

March 19, 2011 § 3 Comments

I photographed the supermoon. Now, the moon is closer to the earth than it has been in 18 years.

Due to clouds and snow I missed out on the Geminids meteor shower and the lunar eclipse in December, but tonight the skies were clear enough and dark enough.

    Such a perfect, luminous pearl!

  • M: pine needles glisten; the moon rises like a pearl…

& btw, could you tell me what tessitura is? Doesn’t this have something to do with the way that swedish folk speak their language?

Tessitura… I don’t know – should I know? When I google it, it seems like it is an Italian word that has got something to do with voice range and singing & music… did you see that term associated with Swedish somewhere (I’m curious too)
