I’ve loved this line ever since Kate Bush used it so effectively in one of her beautiful songs.

I’m a fan of Kate, and Hounds of Love is indeed where I first heard this line… :)
When I learned that the she lifted the quote off a film with the title “Night of the Demon” and that Tourneur was the director I just had to see the film as well. Strangely enough though, I’ve never really felt there was a connection between her song and this film until today, when I revisited this scene.
